FAQs

How do I pay?
I ask for payment to be made at the time of the appointment. Cash or bank transfer is fine. Details for BACS will be given during your appointment.
Can we go through my insurance to cover the cost of the physiotherapy sessions?
Most insurance companies will cover the cost of physiotherapy. I do advised people to check their policy prior to commencing treatment. Relevant paper work can then be completed by Sarah so we can claim your money back.
Can I feed my pet before a treatment?
Yes you can. Although I do recommend with dogs and cats to feed them after the session.
Do you travel to me?
Yes I do. All physiotherapy sessions and other pet services are carried out in the comfort of your own home or yard. If you live outside 20 miles of B97 5PN then a mileage charge will be added. If you wish to travel to me for your appointment then this can be arranged.
Can I exercise my pet after a physiotherapy treatment?
This depends on what we are treating and how I have treated your pet during that session. This will be discussed at your appointment.
How long does a physiotherapy session last for?
Allow 1-1.5hrs for the initial session any follow on sessions between 45mins-1hr.
Do I need to be present for the appointment?
Yes please. I will ask lots of questions regarding your pet prior to the treatment commencing and throughout the session, to gain as much information as possible so I can help your pet accordingly. Often owners have a calming influence on their pets which really helps the session run smoothly.

How many sessions is my pet likely to need?
Each pet is different and individual. After their initial assessment I can give you a better idea of number of sessions that may be needed.
